I believe we often lose focus and stray from what is important to each of us. It is easy to want what others have accomplished or acquired, especially when it surrounds us all on (enter your preferred social media here)!
After reflecting and correcting my own loss of focus at various times throughout my life, I have always come back to five core areas that help with self adjusting. Wellness. Health. Opportunity. Lifestyle. Education. I call it the W.H.O.L.E. Philosophy. In order to be the Champion of your life, these five areas need to be strong and in sync. I believe young adults (teens) need the most help trying to figure out how to be the Champion of their life. I created this blog as a place to share my articles, experiences, insight and discoveries about how to Energize the Champion in YOU! Posts will vary from stories, to awareness, to self-help references, to entertaining tidbits, always linking back to the five areas of the W.H.O.L.E Philosophy.
As a current educator (I prefer Teacherpreneur), author, champion of outside of the box ideas and thinking, former collegiate athlete, established coach, ex-travel softball parent, father and husband, I have plenty of experience "self-adjusting". The result is not always perfect, but I have always moved ahead and bettered myself.
